℗PRESTON HIRE Racing Formula 4 Driver Luis Leeds has been selected by Redbull as a member of the 2016 Redbull Junior Team

The appointment to Redbull's Junior program has come early for the 15 year old. Leeds captured the attention of Redbull with his win in the F4 support race at last months Mexico Grand Prix. Redbull has been running a successful junior team since 2001 producing current F1 racers Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat.

Leeds will participate in the British F4 Series with the prestigious Arden Motorsport Team based in Banbury, England. The announcement will see Leeds moving to the UK for the 2016 season.

"It's a once in a lifetime opportunity that has been given to me by Redbull and Dr Marko. It has all come as a suprise and I'm grateful for this chance" Luis said. " This is only a first step, it's no guarantee that I will make it to F1.  It's now up to me to make something of this opportunity and return the faith that Dr Marko has see in me".

The next step for Leeds will be two day's of testing in Valencia next week, then home for Christmas.
