Preston T-Deck – Big Loading Area for Narrow Building Openings
Preston T-Deck Deck Benefits:
- The Innovative preston T-Deck fits through the smallest opening while still providing a large deck are for loading / unloading (and you can still get a pallet into the building).
- Props are already fitted to the platform for quick installation and removal freeing up the crane crew sooner. A typical crane crew can safely remove and reinstall a platform in less than 15 minutes.

Preston Extendable Deck Benefits:Preston Extendable Decks – Extend Your Reach.
When one of our clients had restricted access to their building and needed to extend the out board (the distance the deck protrudes from the edge of the building) from the standard 4.5 metres to a massive 8.5 metres to clear the Favco tower crane bracing, we put our thinking caps on. Naturally, in extending the outboard the client still needed to retain a useable Safe Working Load.
After extensive discussion and design, Preston Hire was able to come up with the extension deck which allowed a standard Superdeck to be modified so that it could extend 8.5 meters out from the edge of the slab and still provide a Safe Working Load of 2.5 tonnes. The client’s problem was solved.
