Preston Hire Bridge Solution Used to Divert A Pedestrian Walkway.
We recently had a very different enquiry from a construction company. The cables which needed replacing were located under a heavy pedestrian traffic area on Victoria Parks controlled land.
The challenge for our client was the need to divert the estimated 5000 pedestrians who used the path on a weekly basis. The solution was to create a 54m supported temporay bridge / walkway to divert the traffic around the construction site. The client was over the moon by the engineering design ingenuity shown by Preston Hire to solve this problem.
