What Cranes can I use the Glass Lifting units on?
All of Preston Hire’s cranes have the capability of utilising our Glass Handling Equipment. However, for use of the SuperGlassHandling™ GL-CC7776000 Manipulator Unit, only The SuperCrane™ 305 and 405 have the necessary attachments for its correct use.

Do I need a license to operate your SuperGlassHandling® Range?
You do not need a license to operate the glass handling units themselves, however we strongly recommend and advise you familiarise yourself with the operations manual and complete all relevant pre hire checks associated with the SuperGlassHandling™ Unit prior to operation. In addition, the majority of our glass handling units are designed so as to be used in conjunction with our range of mini cranes, for which you will need the relevant crane license. Alternatively, Preston Hire have a plethora of skilled crane operators at your disposal.
What if I’m not familiar with the operation your Glass handling implements?
Preston Hire have developed an extensive library of induction and learning materials to familarise users with the SuperGlassHandling™ range of Glass Handling units. Tutorial videos, operation manuals and pre-hire/de-hire checklist documents will all help familiarise users with the safe operation of the glass handling units.
